Come and pitch your ventureCapital, in its broadest sense
Every source of capital asks the same question: what have you proved? Commercialisation is how you build that evidence, and the right pathway depends on where your venture is today.
The best capital is a customer who pays. Contracts prove the market is real.
Evidence that your solution works where it matters, with people who'll pay for it.
Government and program funding that fits your stage, without giving away equity.
Funding to deliver the work you've won, not just to build the product.
Industry, research and channel partners who bring credibility, capability and reach.
Equity investors, when the evidence, the team and the timing line up.

Phil Ore · CEO, Quayside Ventures
I started as a telecommunications apprentice at 16, then spent 17 years with Nokia in international technology and commercial leadership. Since then I've worked across business growth, entrepreneurship and commercialisation, supporting around 6,000 businesses and hearing more than 5,000 pitches, alongside investors, venture capital firms, government, universities and industry organisations.
Quayside Ventures brings that experience together with a growing network of industry and specialist relationships, so founders can see what matters, address the gaps and reach the people who can help.
Technology is an enabler, not the answer.
As an Industry Growth Program adviser, on behalf of the Australian Government (Department of Industry, Science and Resources), Phil Ore has personally supported more than 50 technology and advanced manufacturing clients. That program work is separate from Quayside Ventures and does not imply endorsement by the program.
